Morocco and Haiti conclude their FIFA World Cup 26â„¢ group stage campaigns when they meet at Atlanta Stadium.
Here’s everything you need to look out for from this Group C showdown.
Morocco are sitting on four points from their opening two games and will be looking forward to another potentially deep run in the tournament.
Following their 1-1 draw with Brazil in their opening game, a lone early strike from Ismael Saibari fired them to a narrow victory against Scotland on matchday two.
Despite a spirited showing from Haiti in their opener, they went down to a 3-0 loss to Brazil last time out which means they are already eliminated and will be playing for pride here.
Saibari could become the first African player to net in all three group games of a World Cupâ„¢, having also netted in Morocco’s 1-1 draw against Brazil on the opening weekend and has registered an overall attacking score of 6.6 for the tournament so far in FIFA’s Power Rankings.
Captain Achraf Hakimi is also having a quietly impressive tournament, with no Morocco player winning more duels (15), playing more passes into the box (11) or having more shots on goal (five) and only Brahim DÃaz has created more chances.
Although Haiti were defeated 3-0 in their most recent outing, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde still registered an impressive creativity score of 6.7 in FIFA’s Power Rankings, while Wilson Isidor applied double the amount of pressures as any other player in the final third for either side against Brazil (40) despite only being introduced as a second half substitute.
Scorer of the winner, disruptor of interviews – Ismael Saibari everyone!
