Cameroon – Elite One (MD7): Colombe Sportive bounces back, Panthère du Ndé roars in rescheduled match

Two rescheduled matches from matchday 7 of the Cameroonian championship took place this Wednesday, April 1, 2026. The evening was marked by Panthère du Ndé’s resurgence and, above all, Colombe Sportive’s revival as they search for consistency this season.

Struggling in recent weeks, Colombe Sportive du Sud delivered a convincing 3-1 victory over PWD of Bamenda. Early in the game, Njuma Conrad opened the scoring from a corner, before Brice Sindjo doubled the lead from the penalty spot. Dominant throughout, the Southern Bird sealed the win late on thanks to Herval Ndedi, despite a late consolation goal from Christian Ahmadou.

This win allows Colombe to get back on track after an inconsistent run and regain some confidence. It’s the reaction everyone expected from the reigning champions, who are now trying to catch up with the leading pack after a roller-coaster start to the season.

Panthère du Ndé strikes hard despite the storm

Over in Bandjoun, Panthère Sportive du Ndé sent out a strong message by comfortably dispatching Dynamo de Douala 3-0. Despite the resignation of their head coach Yves Clément Arroga, the Ndé side showed no signs of nerves. David Ngondo made his mark with a first-half brace from the penalty spot, before Théo Matthew put the icing on the cake in the second half.

Solid and clinical, Panthère clinches a precious victory that could mark a turning point in their season after a string of disappointing results.
