Bubu Palo agreed terms with Boulogne

SO Maritime Boulogne (NM1) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 35-year-old American (who also holds a Burkinabe passport) 188cm shooting guard Bubu Palo (college: Iowa State) for the 2026-27 season. He most recently played at Hermine Nantes Atlantique in the Elite 2, where he averaged 9.3ppg, 2.3rpg, and 2.4apg in 26 games last season. NM1 will be a better match for him, and he is expected to see more playing time, helping the team reach the semifinals.
Palo is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Denmark (Naestved), Greece (Promitheas), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Texas Legends), France (Olympique Antibes, ALM Evreux and Poitiers), Spain (Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos), and The Basketball Tournament (Big X and Hilton ML).
Palo graduated from Iowa State in 2014 and this will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
