At least 17 killed in school fire in Congo’s rebel-controlled city of Bukavu
A fire at a school in Congo’s rebel-controlled city of Bukavu has killed at least 17 people, including some children, medical sources said on Thursday, Reuters reported.
The death toll remains provisional, and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Bukavu is currently under the control of the Movement of March 23 (AFC/M23) rebel group.
