Al-Lafi praises Qatar’s support for Libyan ownership of political solution
Presidential Council member Abdullah Al-Lafi praised Qatar’s support for efforts to ensure that the political solution in Libya remains Libyan-led, stressing the importance of creating the right conditions for comprehensive national elections with the participation of all Libyan parties.
Al-Lafi met with Qatar’s Ambassador to Libya, Khalid Al-Dosari, on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting also addressed the latest political developments in Libya, efforts to overcome the current political stalemate, and initiatives aimed at advancing an inclusive national process leading to lasting stability.
