Cameron Diaz welcomes third baby with Benji Madden

WASHINGTON — Cameron Diaz has welcomed her third baby with a Benji Madden. 

The couple announced the news Monday on Instagram, where they shared a picture of a pirate ship along with the baby’s name. 

“Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!👊❤️,” Madden said on Instagram. “We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!!🙏🙏having a blast ❤️Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family ❤️🙏👊🏴‍☠️” 

“✨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨,” Diaz replied. 

The name Nautas is Latin for sailor or navigator. 

Diaz, 53 and Madden, 47, share two other children: 6-year-old Raddix Wildflower Madden and 2-year-old Cardinal Madden. 

The couple, who tied the knot in January 2015, are notoriously private and don’t publicly discuss their children. 

Diaz has been open about motherhood before, saying it’s the “best part of my life.” 

“I love being a mother. It’s the best, best, best part of my life,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2020. “I’m so grateful and so happy and it’s the best thing ever and I’m so lucky to do it with Benj and we’re having the best time. I’m thrilled. I can’t believe it.”

Diaz had stepped back from acting for years but recently made her return to the big screen in 2025 in the Netflix film “Back In Action,” starring alongside Jamie Foxx. It was her first time acting in more than 10 years, since the 2014 film “Annie.”
