Kansas State lands 2027 QB Cameron Kruse

2027 quarterback Cameron Kruse has committed to Kansas State, he announced on Tuesday via social media.

“Go Cats!” He said on X. “Excited for the next chapter. #EMAW”

This process moved fast as K-State offered Kruse very recently on April 19. In just a matter of days, he visited Manhattan on April 25 and has now announced his pledge to the Wildcats.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound athlete also held offers from Miami, Northwestern and West Virginia, among interest from many others.

This commitment does not come as a surprise to GoPowercat recruiting editor Cole Carmody, who shared the following on Wabash Station for our VIPs before the news broke:

Believe newly targeted QB Cam Kruse may be rising on the list for Collin Klein. K-State recently offered and he was on campus this weekend. Klein and Kruse have had a long relationship as Klein actually visited Olathe West (Kruse’s first school) when he was the OC at Texas A&M. This season, Kruse was in Franklin, TN but I believe he will be back in the area for his senior year. I am unsure of where that will be, but it is likely to be on either side of the state line in KC.
