Bernard Parker’s future at TS Galaxy has been thrown into doubt, with Siya sources indicating the former Kaizer Chiefs star could depart the Rockets altogether.

As previously reported by the Siya crew, club chairman Tim Sukazi announced two weeks ago that Parker had been demoted back to an assistant coach role while completing his coaching qualifications.
The 39-year-old was initially handed the club’s DDC team before being appointed assistant to head coach Adnan Beganovic in April last year.
Siya sources have now indicated that Parker’s time at the club could be cut short entirely, though the exact reasons for a potential exit remain unclear. Well-placed sources suggest the former Bafana Bafana international is weighing up his options following the recent reshuffle.
The uncertainty comes after Sukazi publicly stated the club are searching for a UEFA Pro-licensed coach to bring much-needed experience that Parker could work with and learn from.
That admission may have highlighted a limited pathway for Parker’s immediate development in his current capacity.

Parker, who hung up his boots in 2023 after a decorated playing career, transitioned into coaching with TS Galaxy and appeared settled in his role supporting Beganovic.
However, the combination of his demotion and the club’s search for a senior figure above him may have prompted a rethink.
Representatives close to Parker are understood to be monitoring the situation closely as the club continue their search for a UEFA Pro-licensed coach. A final decision on his future is expected in the coming days.
