Diesel up 34 centimes as Morocco fuel prices increase

Fuel prices in Morocco are set to rise again from September 16, with diesel increasing by 34 centimes per liter and gasoline by 27 centimes.

The adjustment comes two weeks after a smaller increase in diesel prices on September 1.

Following the latest change, diesel is expected to sell at around 15.35 dirhams per liter, up from roughly 15 dirhams previously, while gasoline is expected to exceed 15.20 dirhams per liter.

The increase adds to renewed pressure on motorists after a relatively limited adjustment at the start of the month.

Fuel prices in Morocco are set by distributors and can vary slightly between cities and service stations depending on transport and distribution costs.
