UNMISS Pays Tribute to Fallen Peacekeepers from Ethiopia

UNMISS colleagues are seen gathered in Juba to honor two Ethiopian peacekeepers who tragically lost their lives during an attack on a patrol in South Sudan’s conflict-prone Jonglei state. Military, civilian and police personnel paid tribute to their courage, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice in the service of peace.

As they make their final journey home, UNMISS remains committed to carrying forward the work they gave their lives for, alongside the people of South Sudan.
