UAE Youth Muay Thai Team wins 11 medals in Libya

Gold medal success

Individual excellence paved the way to the podium, highlighted by gold medal performances from Mohammed Al Shaari in the 16–17 years 67 kg division and Aziz Al Hammadi in the 14–15 years 60 kg category.

Six silver medals

Six athletes secured silver medals after hard-fought bouts: Faisal Shehab (16–17 years, 51 kg), Youssef Abu Maali (14–15 years, 42 kg), Zayed Al Marzouqi (10–11 years, 34 kg), Ahmed Abu Jaish (14–15 years, 75 kg), Rakan Ahmed (14–15 years, 63.5 kg), and Ammar Abu Jaish (12–13 years, 48 kg).

Bronze medals complete the haul

Rounding out the medal count, bronze medals were claimed by Mohammed Bilal (14–15 years, 54 kg), Saeed Amer (14–15 years, 48 kg), and Mohammed Abu Maali (14–15 years, 40 kg).

Federation praises youth achievement

Reflecting on the team’s success, Ali Khouri, Board Member of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, emphasized that the achievement aligns directly with the organization’s vision of cultivating a world-class sporting generation. He praised the young competitors for raising the UAE flag high and noted that these results serve as a powerful catalyst for continued investment in youth categories as the nation sets its sights on upcoming continental and world championships.

Khouri also extended his gratitude to the Arab Muay Thai Federation and its leadership under Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi for organizing the event and fostering regional talent, as the UAE Federation reaffirmed its dedication to building on this momentum in future international competitions.
