Ibrahim Bance and Chippa United chairman Siviwe Mpengesi
Chippa United have officially confirmed the signing of Burkinabe midfielder Ibrahim Bance, with the club announcing his arrival following his spell with Marumo Gallants.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Bance had returned to South Africa to complete his move to the Chilli Boys, with the midfielder having attracted interest from a number of clubs.

The 25-year-old now joins Chippa as the club looks to strengthen its midfield options, with Bance bringing experience of playing in Mzansi as well as abroad.

He has also represented Burkina Faso at senior international level. Chippa have now officially welcomed the midfielder, with the club issuing the following statement on social media:

Despite attracting interest from several clubs, Bancé chose Chippa United as the next destination in his career. A strong and composed presence in central midfield, he brings valuable experience from playing in South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Sweden and the United States. He has also represented Burkina Faso at senior international level. We are confident that his physicality, work rate and ability to control the midfield will add strength and balance to our squad.
