22 Libyan citizens injured in bus accident in Tunisia

Twenty-two Libyan citizens have been injured when a bus belonging to a travel agency, heading to the capital Tunis, skidded off the road and veered off the road in the Medenine Governorate, on the border between Tunisia and Libya.

Civil protection teams confirmed the safety of all 46 passengers and that no fatalities were reported. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals to receive necessary medical treatment, and the accident site was secured.

Civil protection officials stated in a press release that all injuries were minor, ranging from cuts and bruises to contusions and shock. Sixteen of the injured were transferred to hospitals in Ben Guerdane and Medenine for treatment.
