Youssoupha Dabo succeeds Aliou Cisse as head of Libya – Africa Top Sports

Senegalese coach Youssoupha Dabo is the new manager of Libya. He himself announced his appointment to lead the Knights of the Mediterranean.

The former coach of Teungueth FC, Jaraaf, Azam FC, and AS Vita Club succeeds his compatriot Aliou Cissé, whose assistant he had been with the Libyan national team. Known for his work in training and developing young talent, Youssoupha Dabo also managed Senegal’s U20 team, leading them to the final of the 2019 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

With this appointment, the Senegalese coach now takes charge of Libya’s senior national team, aiming to continue the work undertaken in recent months and inject new energy into the Knights of the Mediterranean.

Having served as his predecessor’s assistant just a few months ago, Dabo is now taking the reins of the Libyan team.
