Libya reaffirms support for Palestinians after message from Ramallah

Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has received a written message from his Palestinian counterpart, Mohammad Mustafa, focusing on strengthening ties between the two sides.

The message was delivered in Tripoli on Wednesday by Palestinian Industry Minister Arafat Suleiman, who is attending a meeting of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development.

According to the PM’s media office, the message addressed ways to expand bilateral cooperation across several sectors.

During the meeting, Dbeibah reiterated Libya’s support for the Palestinian people, stressing backing for their rights and closer cooperation, particularly in industry and the economy.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian minister praised Libya’s position, and said the organisation’s 29th General Assembly, hosted in Tripoli, would help boost Arab cooperation and the exchange of expertise in industry, standardisation and mining.
