Arcep gives Niger’s mobile operators one month to fix network issues
Niger watchdog the Authority for the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services (ARCEP), has issued formal warnings to Zamani, Airtel, Moov Africa and Celtel for failing to meet service quality standards in the capital, Niamey, Ecofin reported. They have been given a one-month ultimatum to address the network shortcomings or face regulatory sanctions. Arcep announced the enforcement action in government newspaper Le Sahel on 13 July.
