Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibah officially launched the 2026 Youth Summer Season on July 11 on the Andalus Waterfront Corniche in Tripoli, according to the Prime Minister’s media office.
The Youth Summer Season is part of a broader programme aimed at providing young people with recreational, cultural, and sporting activities while encouraging greater youth participation in community events throughout the summer.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of government officials and youth sector representatives, with various activities taking place along Tripoli’s waterfront.
According to the Prime Minister’s media office, the initiative is intended to support youth programmes and strengthen young people’s participation in public activities, contributing to the country’s cultural and social life.
