The Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Ghalbon, held a meeting with the Minister of Health, Mohammed Al-Ghouj, the head of the Medical Supply Authority, the Director of the Pharmacy Department, and the head of the Public Tenders Committee.
The meeting discussed the Medical Supply Authority’s work plan for the coming period and mechanisms for developing and improving the efficiency of the supply system to ensure the consistent availability of medicines and medical supplies and to meet the needs of health facilities in various regions.
During the meeting, bin Ghalbon reaffirmed the Prime Minister’s directives to ensure the continued availability of medicines and medical supplies and to enhance the efficiency of the Medical Supply Authority. This will contribute to the stability of the supply system and support the health services provided to citizens throughout the country.
