The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has pledged its full support to Neurospark FC as the club prepares for life in the Nigeria National League (NNL) following its successful promotion from the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO).
The newly promoted side paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the FCT FA, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, and members of the board.
The delegation was received on behalf of the Chairman by the Association’s Secretary, Coach Usman Ilerika.
Welcoming the team, Ilerika congratulated Neurospark FC on securing the North Central promotion ticket at the recently concluded NLO playoffs in Lafia.
“On behalf of the Chairman and the board members of the FCT Football Association, I congratulate Neurospark FC on this remarkable achievement. You have made the FCT proud by earning promotion from the NLO, and we are confident you can continue this impressive journey,” Ilerika said.
He urged the club to brace for the challenges of competing in the Nigeria National League, describing it as one of the most competitive football leagues in the country.
“The NNL is one of the toughest leagues in Nigeria, and success will require thorough preparation, discipline, commitment and unity of purpose.
“The management and players must work together and remain focused because you are now representing not just your club but the entire people of the FCT,” he added.
Ilerika assured the club of the Football Association’s continued support in its pursuit of promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
“The FCT FA will continue to provide a level playing ground and support your aspirations. We encourage you to remain disciplined and dedicated as you strive to gain promotion to the NPFL,” he stated.
He further commended the club for bringing pride to the Federal Capital Territory and wished the team greater success in the coming season.
Neurospark FC secured promotion after an impressive outing at the NLO playoffs in Lafia, where the team played three matches, won two and lost one to clinch the ticket to the Nigeria National League.
