“There is a fight among the Basotho who are doing illegal mining, and my clients are not doing illegal mining. They are being linked because of being Basotho.”
Meanwhile, a group of angry residents from the settlement protested outside the court on Thursday, demanding that the trio be denied bail.
“The community is angry, and we asked, but we are staying because that is our area given by the government; we will not move.”
