Libya condemns terrorist bombing targeting a cafe in Damascus

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity has condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a cafe in Damascus, Thursday, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the Ministry reiterated Libya’s firm stance against all forms of terrorism, violence, and extremism, stressing the need for concerted regional and international efforts to combat terrorism and eliminate its sources.

The Ministry also reaffirmed Libya’s solidarity with Syria during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of protecting civilians and respecting international law to strengthen security and peace at both international and regional levels.
