Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras affirmed Wednesday that the Republic of Yemen is closely monitoring the Zionist activities of the traitor and agent Abdulrahman Iro, who is attempting to transform Hargeisa, Berbera, and other Somali regions into an arena for international operations orchestrated by the Israeli enemy entity, with the Somali people paying the price.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Deputy Foreign Minister explained that the greatest loser is the brotherly Somali people.
He stated that Israeli actions in Somalia aim to tear apart its unity and sovereignty, turning its land into a battleground for international and regional powers. The price will be exorbitant, and the loss to security and stability will be immense, not only for Somalia but for the entire region.
Abu Ras stressed the necessity of preventing these conspiracies from succeeding, as the sole beneficiary is the criminal Israeli enemy entity, which seeks to solidify its presence in the heart of the Horn of Africa at the expense of the blood, interests, and resources of the Somali people.
Abu Ras pointed out that the dangerous Israeli project threatens not only Somalia but the national security of the entire region, and that it could drag the region into a major conflict with dire consequences.
He called on all Somali parties not to be deceived by false promises and to remain fully vigilant and aware of the dangers of the Zionist presence. He urged the countries of the region to grasp the true nature of the expansionist Zionist project, which does not target any one party but is rather a ticking time bomb that will explode in everyone’s face.
The Deputy Foreign Minister stated that remaining silent about Zionist activities will come at a heavy price, emphasizing that the security of Yemen and the region is a red line.
He reiterated that Yemen possesses the will and capability to protect its strategic security and is fully prepared to cooperate and actively contribute to the stability of the region and the safety of its people.
