Oyebanji’s reelection proof of inclusive leadership, FCC chair says

The executive chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hulayat Omidiran, congratulated Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his historic reelection following Saturday’s election.

‎In a congratulatory message, she described the victory as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by the people of the state.

‎This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Federal Character Commission spokesperson, Ademola Lawrence.

‎In the statement, Mrs Omidiran said Mr Oyenbanji’s endorsement at the polls reflected the impact of his administration’s commitment to good governance, inclusive leadership, accountability and people-oriented programmes.

“The reelection of Governor Oyebanji is a testament to the confidence of the people of Ekiti State in his leadership, vision and commitment to improving the lives of citizens.

‎“The difference is clear in the impact of his administration, which has continued to promote development, unity and progress,” she said.

‎ The FCC boss emphasised that the governor’s re-election demonstrated that when leaders remain focused on delivering meaningful development and improving citizens’ welfare, the difference becomes evident in the electorate’s support.

‎She commended Mr Oyebanji for his focus on policies and initiatives aimed at advancing socio-economic growth, improving public services and creating opportunities for the people of Ekiti State.

The FCC chairman urged the governor to remain committed to the ideals of inclusive governance.

‎“As Governor Oyebanji begins another term, I urge him to remain committed to the ideals of inclusive governance, fairness and equitable opportunities for all residents of Ekiti State.

‎”His victory is a renewed call to continue building a stronger, more prosperous and united state,” she said.
