Yemeni Foreign Ministry: Iran’s victory against aggression historic / China supports Tehran’s legitimate demands
Pars Today – Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States to end the imposed war against Iran, has described the event as a historic victory for Iran against aggression.
According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, based in Sanaa, issued a statement on Thursday declaring: “We congratulate the Islamic Republic of Iran on this historic victory.” The Yemeni Foreign Ministry emphasized: “The option of jihad, resistance, and steadfastness against oppressive powers is the best and least costly path.”
Tajikistan welcomes Iran-U.S. understanding; stresses development of cooperation
Meanwhile, Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan, sent a message on Thursday to Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, congratulating Tehran and Washington on reaching an understanding and expressing hope that this event would contribute to strengthening lasting peace and security in West Asia and the development of regional and international cooperation. The President of Tajikistan emphasized the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening friendly relations between Tehran and Dushanbe.
Also, Konstantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and rotating President of the Council of the European Union, in a conversation with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the finalization and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding by the presidents of Iran and the United States, describing the agreement as an important step toward strengthening regional stability and expanding cooperation between European countries and Iran in various fields.
Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, in this conversation, elaborated on the dimensions and provisions of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and expressed hope that this agreement would mark the beginning of a new chapter in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s relations with other countries of the world and pave the way for the expansion of interactions and cooperation, particularly in the economic sphere.
China supports Tehran-Washington understanding; emphasizes Iran’s legitimate demands
Wang Yi, China’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, also in a telephone conversation with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, welcomed the signing of the first phase of the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States and emphasized that Beijing supports Iran’s legitimate and reasonable demands. Wang Yi, welcoming the signing of the first phase of the MoU between Iran and the United States, said: “Facts have proven that force and power cannot solve problems, and dialogue and negotiation are the correct choice.”
Araghchi, in this phone call, outlined the latest status of the implementation of the first phase of the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States and expressed appreciation for China’s active role in advancing the negotiations and reaching the understanding. Iran’s Foreign Minister also stated that this Memorandum of Understanding must be effectively implemented, including that the Israeli regime must end its military operations against Lebanon. Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized: “The responsibility for the full and good-faith implementation of the provisions of the understanding, particularly regarding ending the war on all fronts, rests with the United States of America.”
