Haitian Beignets & Lamveritab (breadfruit)

This is a pretty simple Beignet recipe with ingredients and with pictures.

Haitian beignets are a stapple of Carnival ambiance in haiti, but we eat them whenever and whereever because we love them!

Someone asked me for a recipe for fried Jackfruit don’t know about Jackfruit I know about Breadfruit

we fry it, we boil it, we steam it lol

As I said my grandfather had a sort of farm in haiti, in the year I spent there, we used to have “war of the rotten breadfuit”… there were four giant breadfruit trees surrounding a space that was cemented over like a dance floor… we would climb the trees and throw breadfruits overly riped ones at each other it was messy fun.
