The goal, which was Tegisi’s first in the league since scoring a brace Tanzania Prisons in late May, gave his side temporary reprieve, this after they had conceded an early goal from Congo forward Elie Mpanzu in the eighth minute.
Despite their efforts, Pamba Jiji would not close out a result, as Simba struck a winner in the 65th minute through Senegal’s Libasse Gueye.
Alongside Tegisi, were two other Kenyans in the Pamba Jiji line up, including: midfielder Shaphan Oyugi, and defender Brian Eshihanda.
Kenyan midfielder Mohammed Bajaber, who plays for Simba was, however, not involved.
A second consecutive defeat for Pamba Jiji saw them remain seventh on the league standings with 33 points, while second-placed Simba narrowed their gap to leaders Yanga down to two points after 26 matches.

Elsewhere in Sweden, the Kenyan duo of Andreas Odhiambo and Paul Osama were all in action as their third-tier side Enkoping SK drew 1-1 to Vasalund at the Enavallen C-plan on Sunday.
Former Karibangi Sharks midfielder Odhiambo featured for 84 minutes, and was incidentally replaced by the former Murang’a Seal youngster Osama, who came in off the bench.
The point for the hosts saw them maintain their fourth position on the Division One Norra standings, with 22 points.

Meanwhile in Norway, Harambee Stars forward Alfred Scriven played 73 minutes of Bryne’s 3-0 victory over Lyn, a result that pushed the former to ninth on the standings with 13 points.
