From June 3 to 5, the 23rd Russian Greenhouse Horticulture Exhibition took place at the VDNH Exhibition Centre in Moscow. Organised by the Russian Greenhouse Association and listed in the key exhibition catalogue supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the event is widely regarded as a benchmark professional event in Russia and Eastern Europe’s greenhouse horticulture sector. Kingpeng was among the exhibitors invited to attend.

Kingpeng’s participation marks a significant milestone in the company’s Russia-focused expansion strategy, which is resuming after a decade-long hiatus. The company first broke into Russia’s agricultural market around 2010, ranking among China’s pioneering enterprises to achieve bulk exports of complete greenhouse equipment to the country. Following a period of scaled-back operations, driven by geopolitical trade shifts and broader industry cycles. Kingpeng continued to monitor the Russian market closely while investing in R&D for cold-climate greenhouse technologies. That sustained focus has enabled the company to evolve from a standalone greenhouse equipment exporter into a full-chain service provider offering EPC+O turnkey solutions.
The company’s portfolio now spans film greenhouses, high-end glass greenhouses and container plant factories, supported by self-developed technologies in intelligent environmental control, LED supplementary lighting, integrated water and fertilizer management, and energy-saving thermal insulation suited to frigid climates. These solutions are tailored to the diverse conditions found across Russia’s Far East, Moscow, Saint Petersburg and beyond.

Kingpeng’s booth attracted considerable attention throughout the exhibition, with active business discussions and partnership inquiries. Highlights included a VR cloud roaming system, full-chain integrated facility agriculture solutions and proprietary greenhouse technologies designed specifically for cold-climate conditions. The company connected with major Russian agricultural enterprises, regional investment institutions and government agricultural authorities, with on-site presentations generating a number of prospective distributorship deals.
Russia serves as the second stop on Kingpeng’s 2026 Global Exhibition tour and a strategic hub for its broader expansion across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The company sees its re-entry into the Russian market as a key component of its dual-driven domestic and overseas development strategy, and aims to further its mission of “National Brand, Serving the World” through opportunities aligned with the Belt and Road Initiative.
