Soccer Laduma has been led to believe that Marumo Gallants striker Jaisen Clifford has attracted interest in Bulgaria after an impressive first season in the topflight of South African football.
Clifford joined Gallants at the start of the 2025/26 campaign after being linked with Soweto giants Orlando Pirates, and did not take long to get used to his surroundings at the club.
While he only scored four goals in 27 matches for the club in all competitions, Clifford stood out as a player who could make a difference whenever he was given an opportunity as a starter or from the bench.

The 30-year-old is understood to have joined Gallants on a one-year deal, with an option to extend for another campaign, but the deadline to exercise the option is believed to have expired.
Indications are that there is interest coming in from Bulgaria, where he’s previously played for Etar and Sportist Svoge. Clifford’s experience also includes playing in Lithuania, Portugal, Armenia and Malta.
Soccer Laduma has been led to believe that the striker has attracted some interest from four clubs in the top eight in the Betway Premiership, and a decision on his future will be made in the coming weeks, as his camp weighs the options before the 2026/27 campaign.
