Unexploded ordnance recovered in Tripoli suburb
Members of the Security Inspection and Explosives Disposal Office say they have recovered a number of unexploded munitions and war remnants in the Al-Kreimiya area of Tripoli.
The Criminal Investigation Department said its explosives disposal unit found 12 MK4 rockets, two RPG-9 rounds and a 100mm artillery shell, along with two propellant charges, in the area known as Asal Street.
The materials were secured and transferred to a designated location for safe disposal, officials said, adding that the operation was carried out in line with approved procedures to ensure public safety.
