Leopards youngster returns as McCarthy makes changes to Stars squad for Lesotho clash

The AFC Leopards youngster’s call-up underlines his rapid rise this season, with selectors rewarding his consistency, maturity, and influence throughout a campaign that saw Ingwe mount a strong title challenge.

Madada earned his maiden call in December last year for the Mapinduzi Cup held in Zanzibar.

He joins Amos Nondi and goalkeeper Brian Bwire as the new faces in camp.

The trio will replace Job Ochieng, Ryan Ogam and Byrne Omondi, respectively.

Harambee Stars reported to camp on Monday, 1 June, with an afternoon training session before departing for South Africa on Tuesday.

The double-header against Lesotho will provide the technical bench another opportunity to assess the squad ahead of upcoming continental assignments.
