Sports247 reports that, though the Flamingos hold a handsome 5-0 advantage from the first leg played on neutral ground in Cote d’Ivoire, Busari is not ready to soft-pedal during Sunday’s reverse fixture at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

Rather than go soft on the visitors from Conakry, the soft-spoken tactician, who previously coached DUFA Football Academy of Lagos and Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, assured that his players will redouble their efforts and go all out for victory.

He also ruled out any form of overconfidence or complacency on the part of his team, because he believes that the Guineans are capable of responding strongly to turn the table around and stressed that the Flamingos have a responsibility to impress their fans.

“I see Guinea as a team that can still want to fight back. On our side, we still need to give more, because we are playing at home. Our fans want to see the beauty of the game. We also want to showcase what we have and win excellently,” Busari posited.

Sports247 gathered further that Sunday’s encounter presents the Flamingos with another opportunity to underline their credentials as one of Africa’s major forces in female football and eventually seal qualification to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
