The PlayStation 5 exclusive, priced at $69.99, is available for pre-order starting March 17th. Early access (June 24th) is granted to those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99) or the Collector’s Edition ($229.99).

The 10-minute trailer, presented by Kojima, opens with a tense exchange between Neil (Luca Marinelli) and another character. It then delves into Sam’s (Norman Reedus) perilous journey through a desolate world, facing extreme weather, natural disasters, and the series’ iconic otherworldly creatures. The trailer boasts an impressive cast, showcasing characters played by Léa Seydoux, George Miller, Troy Baker, Elle Fanning, and many others.

A striking moment near the trailer’s end features Neil donning a bandana reminiscent of Solid Snake from Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series, coupled with unsettling flashes of his face morphing into a skull.

Kojima also announced “The Strands of Harmony World Tour,” a concert tour featuring the music of Death Stranding performed by a live orchestra and singers. The tour kicks off on November 8th, 2025, in Sydney, Australia, spanning 19 cities.
