financing, fintech, AI-based underwriting, and proprietary car portals

Country Manager

Role Summary:
As a Country Manager for Tanzania operations you will own the full
business development lifecycle – driving market entry, establishing
robust local operations, and building a high-performing team. This role
demands strong leadership to cultivate stakeholder relationships, foster
collaboration, and deliver ambitious growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the launch operations in Tanzania market – setting strategy, building structure, and driving execution
- Take full ownership of market performance across sales, operations, marketing, compliance, and customer experience
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local team while shaping a strong and collaborative company culture
- Identify and drive business development opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base
- Serve as the key link between the local business and Group HQ, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing
Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in a country or general management role,
ideally in financial services, mobility, fintech, or other fast-paced
industries - Strong financial acumen with a track record of delivering P&L results and driving profitable growth
- Strategic mindset, ability to translate market insights into actionable commercial strategies
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English
Debt Collection Manager
Debt Collection Manager at Eleving Group June 2025
Role Summary:
We
are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Debt Collection Manager to
establish and lead our debt collection function. In this role you will
design and implement effective collection strategies and workflows,
build and develop a high-performing team, and drive debt recovery
operations to optimize portfolio performance while mitigating credit
risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build
the Collection Function: Define debt collection strategy. Develop
strategic plans for the debt collection department to optimize
collection efforts and execute the strategy in the field - Team
Management: Recruit & lead the team of debt collection
professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
and adherence to company policies and procedures - Performance
Management: Define, calculate and monitor key performance indicators
(KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of collection efforts,
identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance
performance - Relationship Management: Build and maintain
effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance,
legal, and customer service teams, facilitate efficient debt collection
processes and customer issues resolution - Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to streamline the processes, leverage technology
solutions, and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and
effectiveness of debt collection operations
Qualifications:
- Proven
experience in debt collection, with a track record of successfully
delivered strategies, budgets, and projects. International experience
would be an advantage - Strong knowledge of debt collection laws, regulations, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve performance targets
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of debt collection activities
Head of Sales

Role Summary:
We
are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to spearhead our
Tanzanian market launch. This role is integral to establishing our
presence, achieving ambitious sales targets, and contributing to the
Group’s growth in East Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales
objectives: Develop, implement and coordinate the entire sales strategy
to achieve Company’s financial and growth objectives. Enhance customer
satisfaction and loyalty - Market Expansion: Identity market expansion opportunities through strategic partnerships and innovative sales channels.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Monitor market trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with regional and group-level leadership to align goals and share best practices.
- Team Development: Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, client services or account management role, preferably within the microfinance.
- Strong understanding of local market, including regulatory and cultural nuances.
- Demonstrated success in launching new markets or products.
- Leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
