14 Somali migrants deported from east Tripoli centre

A migrant detention centre in east Tripoli says 14 Somali nationals have been deported after completing legal and administrative procedures.

The centre said the deportation was carried out via Mitiga International Airport in coordination with the relevant authorities, as part of ongoing efforts to implement removals in line with the law.

It added that the measures aim to curb irregular migration and strengthen the rule of law, noting that deportations are set to continue.
