Uganda have clinched a fourth Rugby Africa Men’s 7s title in Mauritius. This was after beating Zimbabwe in the Cup Semifinals by 24-07 points.
The victory and subsequent progress to the Cup Final meant that the Rugby Cranes 7s have accumulated enough points to maintain their number one spot on top of the tournament overall standings.
Uganda had twenty points from the first round. They will collect a minimum of eighteen points from the second round, making a total of thirty-eight.
This is more than any other team can possibly earn from the tournament as Day Two comes to a climax.
Coach Tolbert Onyango, plus his players Adrian Kasito and Philip Wokorach, are now in a class of their own. They have successfully won a fourth Africa Men’s 7s title with Uganda.
