Some nice weekend rains helped to alleviate some of the drought pressure in South America. Allendale commodity broker Greg McBride gave an update on the current weather patterns in Brazil and Argentina.
However, McBride said they don’t have as much faith in the longer-term forecast.
McBride said a combination of dry and wet weather is hampering some of the soybean planting progress in Brazil, but farmers are still mostly able to keep going.
Corn planting in Brazil and Argentina is also moving along nicely.
McBride also provided some key takeaways from the news in South America.
