The murder case of Phillip Paulwell’s 10-month-old daughter Sarayah and her 27-year-old mother, Toshyna Patterson, is expected to take another dramatic turn. This as a second murder accused is likely to plead guilty in the Supreme Court.
This would be the second guilty plea in 24 hours.
On Thursday, one of the three accused men, pleaded guilty to two counts of kidnapping and two counts of murder.
The man, whose identity is being withheld for the time being, appeared in court before senior puisne judge, Lorna Shelly Williams.
He’s being represented by a team led by King’s Counsel Valerie Neita Robertson and Rita Allen Brown, while the crown was represented by senior deputy director of public prosecutions, Andrea Martin Swaby.
He’s to be sentenced on November 15.
Four people were charged with the kidnapping and murder of baby Sarayah Paulwell and her mother, Toshyna Patterson, on Saturday, September 9 of this year.
US Navy Culinary Specialist Seaman, Leoda Bradshaw, the alleged mastermind, who declared herself to be Mr. Paulwell’s spouse, is facing eight charges, including capital murder and kidnapping.
Three men, Roland Balfour, Richard Brown, and Roshane Miller, are charged along with her. Miss Bradshaw and Roland Balfour are cousins. She also shares a child with Mr. Paulwell.
