Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says the bulk of the estimated costs for rehabilitating public health facilities damaged by Hurricane Beryl will go to the southern and western regions.
The estimated cost of the damage across all four regions is some $4 billion.
Dr Tufton says the ministry’s recovery plan includes making more facilities climate resilient.

And, Permanent Secretary in the Health Ministry, Dunstan Bryan, has detailed several challenges preventing normal operations at some hospitals still under emergency mode.
Mr. Bryan says the Falmouth hospital is expected to return to normality in two weeks.
