Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the government is moving to provide a swift response to the many problems affecting people of South East Clarendon in the wake of Hurricane Beryl.
The prime minister was speaking during a tour of the constituency last Saturday.

South East Clarendon was one of the constituencies worst affected by the passage of Hurricane Beryl. Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the constituency’s geographical location makes its susceptible to flooding.
Prime Minister Holness says the government is moving to ensure electricity and water are quickly restored to the area.
Prime Minister Holness praised the residents for remaining in high spirits as they rebuild following Hurricane Beryl.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Holness told residents of South East Clarendon that the government will assist them in making their homes more resilient in the face of the increasing severity of natural disasters such as hurricanes.
The prime minister told residents that they must ensure they get news about pending disasters from credible outlets.
