According to Edwards, he told the police everything he knew.
He stated, “I had no intentions of committing any murder. I had no agreement with anyone to commit murder. I definitely did not conspire with anyone to commit murder.”
For his part, Dewayne Pink denied that he influenced someone to commit the double murder.
He declared, “my thinking of this is, I never influence and tell no one to do no such a thing of murdering no one. Mi nah go involve miself and think of nothing negative of my life. “
Pink further stated that on the day of the murders, he did not recall driving a car with anyone to commit the murders.
Pink ended his statement by asserting that he has never thought of killing nor advising anyone to kill.
