The parish of Manchester has been rocked by a surge of violence, resulting in the deaths of five people in a single week.
The latest incident occurred late Monday night in Knockpatrick.

The bloodletting in Manchester continues.
The latest victim, 46-year-old Kevin Brown, was gunned down at a bar in the district of Green Street in Knockpatrick.
Reports are that about 10 Monday night, Brown was among a group of people when armed assailants opened gunfire at them.
When the shooting subsided, three people, including Brown were found with gunshot injuries.
Brown was pronounced dead at hospital.
It was a similar incident at a bar in Bottom Albion last Tuesday, where two men were shot and killed.
Dead are 29-year-old Khalou Stultz, otherwise called ‘Rasta’, a resident of Albion and 44-year-old Henry Brown, otherwise called ‘Ice man’, a resident of Barnstable.
Reports are that a gunman entered the bar and opened fire around 9:20pm.
The gunman reportedly stole a bag containing 1-hundred-thousand-dollars before escaping on foot.
The following day, in Christiana, 27-year old farmer, Romeiro White was shot and killed at a bar.
Two men reportedly entered the bar. One opened fire, striking White in the upper body.
Two days later, there was another murder scene in Christiana.
A man, 27-year-old Cuthbert Lambert, otherwise called Jerome, was shot and killed at a school gate.
Lambert had just dropped off his stepdaughter at Christiana Moravian Primary School.
Data published by the police indicate that up to September 7, Manchester recorded 37 murders since the start of the year.
That’s eight more people dead when compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
