One hundred and fifty Jamaicans have so far benefited from cash grants to help repair their homes that were damaged by Hurricane Beryl.
The grants are being issued under the Rebuild Jamaica Initiative under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
The first batch of cheques were issued on August 5 to 50 beneficiaries.
Another 100 beneficiaries received housing grants on Tuesday during a hand over ceremony at the HEART College of Construction in St. Catherine.

The government has committed over $1 billion to the relief effort.
Jamaicans who suffered severe damage to their homes are eligible for grants ranging from $50,000 to $400,000, depending on the extent of the damage suffered.
