Muzito is the fourth swimmer in-a-row to carry Uganda’s flag. She will lead a team of 24 athletes alongside Charles Kagimu, who will compete in road cycling.
The Opening Ceremony will start on Friday at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on Peacock and at 7:30 p.m. on Primetime on NBC.
A total of 30 athletes with ties to the program have made the Olympics, representing 23 different countries since 1972. The Seminoles have been represented at every Games since 1996 and contributed athletes in 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1988.
Florida State has ties with 26 athletes set to compete in five sports in Paris, with Muzito and Max Wilson returning to Tallahassee for 2024-25.
The swimming portion of the Olympics will run July 27-Aug. 4 at the Paris La Defense Arena. Heats will start each day at 5 a.m., with finals following at 2:30 p.m. The top 16 from the individual heats will advance to finals and the top eight will compete in finals.
The top eight relay teams from the heats will advance to finals. All sessions will air live on Peacock.
Peter Varjasi will compete on the opening day of swimming as a member of the 4×100 free relay team for Germany.

Additionally, Molly Carlson (2016-20) will join NBC as a content creator for the Olympics. Carlson represents Team Canada in high diving, which is not featured In the Olympic program. A two-time World Aquatics silver medalist, Carlson is currently second in the rankings on the 2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series with 59 points.
