Eswatini on the other side comes with a defeat, a draw and a victory in the last games they played. On November 21st, at home, the defeat was 2-0 to Cape Verde, with goals from Ryan Mendes and Jamiro Monteiro. On March 20, in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, in its preliminary phase, Eswatini beat Somalia away from home 3-0, with goals from Figuairedo, Ndzinisa and Thwala. And on the 26th, at home, the draw was 2-2 in the second leg, with goals from Ndzinisa and Matsebula, while Awad and Ahmed sought a draw.

Angola arrives for this match with two defeats and a draw in the last games. On February 2nd, in the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations, the defeat was 1-0 to Nigeria, with a goal from Lookman. On March 22, away from home, the defeat was once again against Morocco, 1-0, with David Carmo, in an own goal. And on the 25th, again away from home, the draw was goalless with Comoros.
