I was trying to think outside the box on what it means hosting 120 countries in our country during the 19th Non Aligned movement (NAM)which is set to take place on 15/01/2023. This summit is a blessing in disguise because it is the second largest grouping of states after the United Nations. In actual sense we almost hosting a United Nations General Assembly in our banana republic, the Pearl of Africa.
The President of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museven has already put in place the necessary infrastructure like roads, airport, conference halls etc in preparations of his guests.
The big question is:what/how have other government departments like UTB prepared to help Ugandans harness these low hanging fruits? Our strategists should be strategising on how to help our Private Sector earn handsomely. Are our technocrats working tirelessly to make our guests pay EXTRA nights in accommodation?
Can we defy Western culture and agitation and we employ services of escorts in order to give our guests awesome and a nice experience? Each guest should be at liberty to chose any of our beautiful gals to give him company during this period and if not,the guests should have a reason to even prolong their stay here so that we exhaust their budgets as we get more bucks and ones, which is a valuable forex income.
Bear in mind that some African culture use sex as a form of hospitality, a case in point is the Ovazimba tribes in Northern Namibia offer sex to guests which we can use as our gem or magic witchery.
Of course it is impossible to head to unfamiliar location and not be tempted to explore famous landmarks like Kasubi tombs,Uganda Museum etc, indulge in local cuisine or stroll down winding streets to buy souvenirs to charming market stalls. But Who is more suitable to induce our guests to find all this?of course it is our beautiful escorts.Uganda and Rwanda have an upper hand in having beautiful girls, isn’t this the best opportunity to maximize them? Can’t we end up getting cross cultural relations which can change the lives of our daughters?
We should bear in mind that our economy has not matured enough to make designer labels or expensive pieces of equipment for our guests like watches or phones to buy and export, our leverage and competitiveness now lies in our hospitality and tourism of which we should maximize in order to earn more green backs.
It is high time we use our abundance of educated labour force to shortlist linguistic escorts who can speak different languages like English, French,Germany, Chinese,Russian etc in order to help our guests to enjoy our serenity in staying in Uganda. Undoubtedly this will help our country’s economy and help us promote a sustainable tourism sector.
Indubitably the Private Sector can’t fail to smile when they see our escorts doing a good job of taking our guests to a near by hip bar serving outstanding craft beer,to local bakery serving the best croissants, a new art gallery, pork joint among others.
At the end of the day When we plan well for the NAM event, the G77+China, a forest of jobs in hospitality, accommodation, transportation, restaurant, tour operators, and entertainment will be created.
The 19th Summit of NAM is expected to give us expected outcomes which include; Promotion of our National interests through enhanced positive image and economic and commercial benefits,Promotion of our foreign policy objectives, Provide a platform to promote Uganda unique tourism, contribute to country policy and drive to attract meetings, and provide a platform for direct business to business interaction.
In conclusion, tourism is a crucial contribution to the growth of economies because a thriving economy creates Opportunities for residents to lead happier lives.
Long live General Yoweri Kaguta Museven, Long live Hajjat Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo.
