Jamaicans Rovman Powell and Andre Russell are among 18 West Indians who have been contracted to play in the International League T20 series in Dubai next year.
Powell, the West Indies White Ball captain will play for the Dubai Capitals while Russell will suit up for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.
Of the 18 West Indians in the league, five of them will be playing in the competition for the first time among them Shaie Hope, Terrance Hinds, Romario Shepherd, Dominic Drakes and Roston Chase.
Obed McCoy will join Powell at the Dubai Capitals.
Shepherd joins an all-star West Indian contingent at MI Emirates, including Kieron Pollard, Akeal Hosein, Andre Fletcher, Dwayne Bravo, and Nicholas Pooran.
Keemo Paul has been signed by the Sharjah Warriors, who also have St Lucian Johnson Charles on their roster.
Chase will suit up for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, alongside Russell, Sunil Narine, Gudakesh Motie, and Hinds.
Drakes will ply his trade with the Gulf Giants, featuring Guyanese batter Shimron Hetmyer while Sherfane Rutherford will be one of the overseas players for the Desert Vipers.
The third season of the ILT20 kicks off on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
The month-long, 34-match tournament will culminate with the final on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
